Sunnybrae CL Caravan Site

In a quiet position above the picturesque village of Findochty with panoramic views over the Moray Firth.

Village of Findochty

The Moray Firth and Banffshire coast is a renowned area of natural, unspoilt beauty. An ideal area to relax it is also perfect for outdoor activities - leisurely walking, wildlife watching, fishing, cycling or golfing or the more exhilarating kayaking, surfing, sailing and diving. The Banffshire Coast offers traditional seaside experiences  – on long sandy beaches where you can watch seabirds swooping and dolphins leaping. Explore charming coastal villages and harbours, castles and historic homes.

The Moray Coast

The charming village of Findochty with its sheltered natural harbour is overlooked by Sunnybrae, just over half a mile from the caravan site.

Cliff top paths lead from the village, East to Portnockie and West towards Buckie. The harbour, once a busy fishing port, today hosts small fishing craft and pleasure boats. Findochty and the villages and towns a short distance away offer a range of pubs, restaurants, local shops and supermarkets . For the golfer there are at least 30 courses within 15 miles.

Whisky and Castle Trails

The Malt Whisky Trail is within easy driving distance. You don’t have to be a whisky connoisseur to enjoy a visit to a distillery as there is plenty to interest the whole family including guided tours, coffee shops and gift shops. Also of interest is the Speyside Cooperage with its award-winning visitor centre. The Castle Trail features 11 of the most interesting castles and fortified houses in the region, a wonderful insight into the historical, cultural and architectural heritage of North-East Scotland.

Sunnybrae Caravan Site

Sunnybrae has spectacular panoramic views over the Moray Firth - and beyond on a good day! The site itself has 5 pitches (4 of which are hardstanding) all with new 16amp electric hookups. Drinking water tap and chemical waste disposal with rinsing tap are also provided for visitors. The site itself has a very gentle slope but the pitches are all reasonably flat. Visitors to Sunnybrae will be guaranteed a warm welcome and Mike and Brenda look forward to seeing you
